Application Specialist - eCommerce

We are looking for a new colleague for our solution support team (Express eCom). You will be responsible for providing consultations, guidance and problem solving expertise with respect to technical issues of infrastructure, design, methods, tools etc to ensure that a robust, maintainable service is provided

You will cooperate with DHL IT Services internal teams (database, network, operating system administrators and developers etc.) to maintain internal applications with minimal disruptions to the production environment.

Your daily work:

- Works as 2nd level support for customer facing applications/APIs
- Responsible for testing and release to production
- Supports Incident, Problem and Critical Incident Management as required, prioritizes requests in accordance with agreed criteria and the needs of the organization in accordance with SLAs
- Maintains good working relationships with appropriate internal and external DHL customers
- Provides technical support to users of business applications, using standard DHL ITS processes and procedures
- Provides verbal and written technical reports to specialists on aspects of system status
- Plan, execute and support implementations so the applications themselves are deployed with minimal disruption to the production environment and meet established standards
- Deployment services for area of competence
- Investigates problems and other requests for support and determines appropriate actions
- Liaises with staff responsible for the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems

Your technical skills:

- OS Unix, Linux
- OS Windows
- SQL
- DB (Oracle/MySQL)
- Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic
- XML, JavaScript, JSP, XSL, JSON
- Ability to create shell script in UNIX and LINUX
- Web CMS tools, Web Analytics
- Basic understanding of CDN ( Akamai ), Networks, APIs
- API testing tools, ( postman, soap UI, curl )
