System Support Specialist- Cognos


Our team is looking for an enthusiastic person who is keen to learn how to support the key Business Intelligence technologies: IBM Cognos BI stack, within Deutsche Post DHL in order to drive time to value and ensure maximum availability of end-to-end business processes.

About the role:

•Support of infrastructure of IBM Cognos BI stack - Cognos BI, Cognos Analytics, Avnet MetaManager, FrameworkManager, Cube Designer
•Support and maintenance of PowerShell or Bash scripts for automated Cognos administration tasks
•Cognos logs investigation
•IBM Support cases administration and support
•Basic investigation of database query issues (MSSQL, Teradata, Oracle)
•Maintain technical documentation and the knowledge of supported applications and technologies
•On-call duty

Technologies you will use:

•IBM Cognos

You should have:

•Understanding of Business Intelligence concept and key components
•Basic knowledge of SQL
•Working experience with any RDBMS
•Working experience with IBM Cognos BI stack is a plus
•Working experience of other BI technologies is a plus, especially Qlik Sense, MS Power BI, Azure PaaS
•Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Bash (incl. Scripting)
•Communicative English
•Good time-management, organizational, multi-task and prioritization skills
•Drive for results
