External Resources Specialist

About the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to be a point of contact and External Resource Management (ERM) partner for defined group of employees and projects. The key responsibility is to act as a trusted advisor to the projects and provide consultation in the area of ERM as well as in number of other ERM related processes and activities.

You will be mainly responsible for: ordering IT Consultancy services from 3rd party providers; reporting, including report set up, maintenance and possible further automations (MS Excel, MS Access etc.). The position is also assigned as first level support for internal tools used within ERM team (Sharepoint, BI).
In addition, you will provide support through ordering (processing Vendor proposals) to delivery check and confirmation. Your main partner would be Projects and Vendors, the cooperation is also with Procurement, Legal, Finance and Human Resources departments in DHL IT Services. The External Resources Specialist works within the External Resource Management team and reports to the team lead.

You should have:

• University degree
• Ability to build relationships and to understand customers interests and concerns
• Negotiation and conflict management skills
• Experience from multinational global organizations
• Fluent written and verbal English language
• Knowledge of MS Excel (or potentially MS Access)
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships
• Communication, prioritization and organizational skills
• Proactive approach and good follow-up skills, Can do attitude

Nice to have:

• 1+ years experience with Vendor management, Procurement or Human Resources within global companies
• Knowledge of Sharepoint and BI is a big plus
• Positive attitude towards IT, learning new technologies and tools
• Legal awareness on advanced level
• User knowledge of SAP
