Manager of Server Protection Security


About the role:

DHL IT Services is looking for a Manager of a global security team focused on Servers Endpoint protection to join our global security operations team.
You and Your team will be responsible for fully managing the lifecycle of the security tools comprising the "Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)" and "Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP)"; the design, build, and run of the solutions. As well, the team will be responsible for the monitoring output of these systems along with performing the remediation of security events/incidents the platforms reveal.

The key objective of this role is to manage a team to maintain an adequate security posture for the estate operated by the DHL IT Services organization; continuously improving it using industry best security practices, emerging innovations and in compliance with regulations in place against cyber threats endangering their content confidentiality, availability and integrity.

What you will do:

•Managing a Global security operation support team
•Globally supporting Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) & Endpoint protection platforms (EPP) applications
•Coordinate and collaborate the activities of the team with other departments and external service provider
•Acting as Service owner of the security tools
•Assessing, developing and implementing EDR and EPP infrastructures
•Primarily contact point for EDR and EPP applications and solutions
•Maintaining and ensuring EDR and EPP applications are up to date with security standards.
•Day to day operations handling security incidents and incidents related to EDR and EPP
•Gathering, assessing and communicating critical information on a timely basis, by interacting with your team and business stakeholders globally.
•To continuously support security hardening solutions and future projects
•Continuously learning on the latest new security technologies
•Apply industry standard methodologies and frameworks
•Provide On call support 24/7

What you should have:

•Strong leadership and experience with building and managing global teams
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Global Enterprise IT environment
•Strong knowledge of moderns Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) & Endpoint protection platforms (EPP) Solutions
•Strong knowledge of current threat landscape
•Good knowledge of malware operation, threat, & IOC.
•Good knowledge of Administrating Operating Systems (Windows 22016, RHEL 7.x, 8.x)
•Knowledge of information security incidents response management.
•Provide clear direction and performance standards across the team
•Ensure development of people through a comprehensive training plan for direct reports and subordinates
•Excellence communication and presentation skills
•Ability to work unsupervised, under pressure, meet deadline and self-motivated
•Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work conceptually
