Principal System Support Specialist (Intune)


Your role:

We are looking for a new colleague for our GPO/AD/Intune team, a part of Digital Workspace Services, managing configuration of large estate of desktop computers globally.
You will design, manage and troubleshoot Active Directory and Intune delivered configurations for desktop systems and applications.

What you will do:

•Act as a subject matter expert for Desktop-related Directory Services design and implementation.
•Prepare detailed design of required change implementation via desktop management systems.
•Build implementation plans and assign work packages for support teams responsible for testing and implementation phases of complex projects.
•Provide technical expertise to resolve third level technical support issues and ensure all escalations are successfully resolved and all emergency fixes and changes appropriately documented.
•Communicate with regional customer representatives and support teams in countries, collecting requirements, assessing impact of negotiated implementation options.
•Document procedures, prepare guidelines for support teams.
•Finding improvement opportunities to make the service better.
•Provide guidelines and working instructions to colleagues and support teams.
•Align and apply with service and infrastructure standards provided by the organization.

Systems and applications you will use:

•Active Directory Administrative Center
•Set of internal portals and Admin application
•Microsoft Endpoint Manager consoles.

You should have:

•Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Enterprise IT environment
•Minimum 3 years in similar roles
•Strong knowledge of Global Policy,
•Deep knowledge of Administrating MS Windows Operating Systems
•Ability to participate on call support 24/7 (rotational within the team)
•Fluent knowledge of English
•Ability to work independently and self-motivation
•Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work conceptually
•Customer-centric and end-users focused

Nice to have:

•Knowledge & experience in scripting Languages (PowerShell, sh, bash, Python…)
•Microsoft Certification degree
•IT Service Management certification
