About the role:

The Account Manager is responsible for: ensuring ITS meet the needs of the DHL Global Forwarding & Freight (DGFF) business, managing relationships with Business Colleagues and the end-to-end sales, quotations and order lifecycle. The Account Manager develops new business opportunities and encourages IT Services to deliver the development and enhancement of services, products and systems, based on DGFF business requirements. The Account Manager reports to Executive Account Manager (EAM) and supports in achieving department budgets and business growth targets.

Your main tasks will be:

• To act as a first contact for DGFF stakeholders from Business IT and Business regarding all topics related to your service portfolio
• To manage the E2E sales cycle by understanding DGFF business requirements and translating those into IT solutions which create value to DGFF Business
• To create and negotiate the proposals in close alignment with ITS delivery units
• To build up a thorough understanding of DGFF needs and requirements which will help to create benefits for the DGFF business and new opportunities for ITS
• To actively manage relationship with DGFF stakeholder and assure that DGFF’s satisfaction increases consistently
• To take care of escalation management and internal coordination of problem solving activities
• To actively manage orders and plan financial portfolio for Build and RUN

You should have:

• Experience in selling IT solutions and services
• Strong customer focus
• Project management experience
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Personal drive, enthusiasm and resilience to achieve objectives in line with deadlines
• Developed problem solving skills
• Fluent in English
• Degree in IT or business-related subject
