System Support Specialist - Desktop Packaging & Deployment


About the role:

Our Infrastructure Operation team is looking for a new team member!
You will be Technical Expert for 1st & 2nd level Application Support for large Enterprise Desktop Packaging & Deployment Technologies and Services. You will be the driver for complex technical solutions on improving system compliance and its automation. Additionally, you will effectively manage maximum availability and minimize disruption to the Next Generation Workspace services and ensure that all agreed targets; SLA's and Metrics are met.
Our goal is to ensure that the organization has the right knowledge and capabilities to deliver 1st and 2nd level support for infrastructure, keeping the infrastructure up and running 24x7x365

What will you do:

• Managing the end user computer infrastructure for Application packaging and deployment.
• Manage vendor on Enterprise level packing standards.
• Support Incident, Problem and Change Management process
• Confidence with trouble-shooting and problem-solving
• Maintain and Monitor Packaging queue
• Ability to clearly communicate both spoken and written.
• Support Calls for critical incident handling.
• On-call support - rotational basis (24x7, also during the weekend and public holidays)

• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Intune
• Adaptiva
• Global Service Now
• Windows 10/11

What you should have:

• Experience in Desktop Support experience in a Windows-based environment.
• Enterprise level Packaging experience (Installshield)
• Experience in Enterprise Deployment Tools (SCCM/ Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
• Knowledge in Scripting (PowerShell\VB\CMD)
• Incident and Problem ticket analysis and trend analysis
• Document technical processes and procedures in a clear and understandable fashion
• Must be able to provide 24x7 On-Call support on a rotational basis during the weekend and prepare to work during public holidays
• ITIL Foundation / Certification knowledge
